Tactilis. Rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? We first met them as TruFinger, a quickly growing ID verification company. They create fingerprint authentication products (we’re talking James Bond level) and they needed an equally sleek identity to match their product. They reached out to the The Buddy Group for a total brand makeover, including a new name and logo.

The search for a new name started at the international level since they operate multilingually, and their new identity needed to translate across all borders. We boiled our search down to Latin and discovered the word “tactilis,” which shares its meaning of “tactile” in many of the languages in which they operate.

The new identity was tailored and strong, while harking back to the sense of touch integral to their brand. Something Mr. Bond would be proud of.
